Welcome to Leopold Care. By using our SMS wellness check-in service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Service Description

Leopold Care provides an SMS-based wellness check-in service that:

Sends daily check-in messages to elderly users ("Care Recipients")
Notifies designated family members ("Caregivers") of responses
Provides medication and wellness reminders

2. Not a Medical Service

IMPORTANT: Leopold Care is a wellness and communication service, NOT a medical or emergency service. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Our service is not a substitute for professional medical care or emergency services.

In case of emergency, call 911 immediately
Do not rely solely on Leopold for health monitoring
Always consult healthcare professionals for medical concerns

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Caregivers may register Care Recipients with appropriate consent.

4. User Responsibilities

Provide accurate phone numbers and information
Obtain consent before registering another person
Keep your account information up to date
Notify us of any changes to phone numbers

5. SMS Terms

By signing up, you consent to receive SMS messages from Leopold Care
Message frequency varies based on your selected check-in schedule
Message and data rates may apply
Reply STOP to cancel messages at any time
Reply HELP for assistance
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages

6. Subscription and Billing

Service fees are billed monthly in advance
You may cancel your subscription at any time
Refunds are provided at our discretion

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LEOPOLD CARE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Missed or delayed messages
Service interruptions
Reliance on wellness check-in responses
Any medical emergencies or health incidents

8. Privacy

Your use of Leopold Care is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without cause or notice.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles.
